In anticipation of the Tokyo Olympics this summer, Nike has partnered with four of fashion’s acclaimed labels on sports-inspired collections.
Overseeing the collaborative project is Off-White. Virgil Abloh’s latest designs come in the form of tees, crop tops, utility pants, shorts with built-in compression shorts, and socks along with the duo’s trio of Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% sneakers.
Also, Chitose Abe of Sacai who is known for creating series of athleisure wear made bomber jackets, cropped tanks, and windbreaker jackets.
Meanwhile, AMBUSH’s Yoon Ahn’s creativity was inspired by the futuristic aesthetic of Japan’s capital city of Tokyo. The revealed silhouettes include moto-style pants and jackets that come in neon pink/black and neon green/black colorways. “I wanted to try something new and take a risk,” Ahn commented on her collection. “The fun thing about fashion is that all these different elements can co-exist with functionality.”
